Veteran Aduana Stars striker, Yahaya Mohammed is on the verge of completing a 1-year deal with Obuasi Ashanti Gold Sporting Club, information gathered by Modernghana Sports has revealed.
According to Angel FM’s ace sportscaster Saddick Adams, the lethal forward is close to signing for the Miners on a season-long loan deal ahead of the next football season.
Ashanti Gold SC is seeking to secure the services of the Aduana Stars poster boy in a bid to bolster their squad as they prepare to play in the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The deal when completed will see Yahaya Mohammed pocketing a sum of GHS8,000 at the end of every month in wages.
Negotiations are still ongoing with reports indicating that barring no unforeseen hitch, the contract will be signed by the close of this week.
Yahaya Mohammed, 32, finished the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season with 11 goals after making 15 appearances for Aduana Stars.
