Ghana Premier League giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has appointed Nana Yaw Amponsah as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), information gathered by Modernghana Sports has revealed.
The owner of Division One League outfit Phar Rangers have been rumored to be in line for the vacant job at the club for the past few months.
After doubts and uncertainties about his appointment, Nana Yaw Amponsah has finally been given the job.
According to a report by Kumasi-based Fox FM, the 12-Member Board of Asante Kotoko appointed Nana Yaw Amponsah as the new Chief Executive Officer of the club after a thorough assessment.
It is understood that the Board of directors of the club will meet on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, in Kumasi to conclude everything before an official communique will be released to the general public.
Nana Yaw Amponsah though a young football administrator, is joining Asante Kotoko with a lot of experience. The Phar Rangers owner is also a FIFA Licensed Players Agent/Intermediary.
He contested in the 2019 Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Election where he, unfortunately, lost to Kurt Okraku.
