Ghana defender Lumor Agbenyenu was on target on Sunday evening to help his RCD Mallorca side earn a draw against Osasuna at the Estadio El Sadar in the Spanish La Liga.
Coming up against each other on the final day of the 2019/2020 football season, both teams hoped for a win to finish off on a high note.
Following a good start to the campaign, Osasuna took the lead on the 21st minute courtesy a strike from Adrian Lopez after he was assisted by Roberto Torres.
After a resilient effort that followed from RCD Mallorca, they managed to level the score on the brink of halftime when Lumor Agbenyenu fired home a thunderbolt strike from outside the penalty area.
In the second half, a pulsating encounter that ensued between the two teams produced two goals, just like the first.
First, Ante Budimir scored on the 65th minute to give Mallorca the lead for the first time on the day before Inigo Perez found the back of the net for Osasuna.
Eventually, the game ended in a stalemate with defender Lumor Agbenyenu lasting 87 minutes of the match.
With the season coming to an end, the Black Stars asset will return to his parent club in Portugal, Sporting CP.
