Ghanaian giant, Asante Kotoko is closing in on a deal to sign Uganda striker Steven Mukwala in the ongoing transfer window to strengthen their squad for the 2020/2021 football season.
Nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, the Kumasi-based club is ken on taking its place on the Africa continent as one of the elite clubs and has set sight on performing well in the next edition of the CAF Champions League.
To be able to do that, the Ghana Premier League record holders have been busy in the ongoing transfer window to bring in reinforcements.
Following the successful acquisitions of midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh and defender Yusif Mubarik, the club is now set to seal a deal for a striker.
According to a report picked up from Oyerepa FM, Asante Kotoko is in talks to sign Uganda striker Steven Mukwala.
In the past season, the forward won the goal king award in Uganda where he netted 13 goals after making 23 appearances for Maroons FC.
