Abdul Fatawu Safiu excelled on Sunday evening while in action for his Trelleborgs FF side in their 3-1 away win against Norrby in the Swedish Superettan.

The Ghanaian international has been in explosive form for his team since the 2020 football season started in Sweden.

Playing in a Matchday 13 fixture for Trelleborgs FF against Norrby at the Borås Arena, Fatawu Safiu finished off another good outing with a crucial goal on the 78th minute.

The forward handed his team a 2-1 lead after Dijan Vukojevic and Salif Joensson had scored for Norrby and Trelleborgs FF respectively.

Later in the last 10 minutes of the game, a Fredrik Liverstam goal on the 84th minute after he was assisted by Anton Tideman completed the resounding 3-1 victory for the visitors to hand them all 3 points.

On the Matchday, Fatawu Safiu lasted 88 minutes before his place was taken by Haris Brkic. He has 5 goals this season and remains one of the top players for his team.
