Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has hailed Hellas Verona manager Ivan Jurić as well as his teammates at the club as he credits them for the team’s impressive campaign in the Italian Serie A this season.
The club this season has displayed outstanding form which has seen them rubbing shoulders with the giants in the division.
Having played 25 games before the 2019/2020 football season was suspended as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the club finds itself sitting 8th on the standings of the division and in a pole position to secure qualification to play in Europe next season should they continue in the same form when the league re-starts next week.
According to Ghana’s Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Hallas Verona manager Ivan Jurić and his teammates must be applauded for the good job done.
“We have a good coach, a good team full of young guys who are ready for success. For now, we are thinking of being safe in the league, once that happens we will see what happens”, the midfielder told Joy FM’s Gary Al-Smith in an interview with the possibility of playing in the Europa League next season in mind.
This season, the 29-year-old player who is on loan from Udinese has made four appearances for Hellas Verona as a result of a life-threatening condition that left him hospitalized prior to the start of the campaign.
He is now fully fit and ready for the restart of the season.
